It used to be that the Bible was known as the “Good Book”, and those who believed it were viewed by society as moral people. Society has changed, and there is an increasing number of people who say that the Bible is an evil book and those who believe it are immoral.

Hard Times, Hard Truths
Hard times reveal hard
truths. The panic-buying exemplifies the selfishness that ultimately drives us.
We can be very generous and altruistic when we are sure there is enough to go
round, but the moment we think we might have to do without, it shows that we
are nowhere near as generous as we thought – the consuming thought is, “It has
to be mine!”
