Good enough?

I had a pretty unpleasant conversation with a man this week. Alex was a very bitter and aggressive man who seemed to think that he was the only one in the whole world who was right in the area of scriptural doctrine and practice, (he doesn't meet at any church, and he will not be taught by anybody).

Apostles or apostates

I had a chat with a man a couple of weeks ago on the subject of the resurrection of Christ. It was one of those conversations that left me frustrated at people's lack of willingness to go where the evidence points, but so encouraged by seeing how weak their arguments are against the evidence.

Give me two minutes

I've got a lot of books about the Bible, and the study of God's Word is something that will keep the believer well occupied forever. Sickening irony

This is very powerful and clever piece by a pro-life group taking President Obama's comments following the Sandy Hook massacre and showing how they are so condemning of his abortion policy. See it here.

It's a strange thing that secularists point an accusing finger at Christians during Nazi Germany and condemn them for their silence, then they tell Christians today to stop pushing their morality on others when it comes to abortion.

Why Sandy Hook makes me glad (and more sure) Christianity is true

The unspeakably tragic shooting in Connecticut leaves me praying for the families involved, but also praising God for the truth of the Christian worldview.

Atheism's blindspot

I have just listened to a pretty poor debate between Peter Hitchens and atheist Alex Gabriel (you can find it here if you're interested).

Anti-bullying week

I've been asked to speak at a High School and was informed that it's anti-bullying week this week (they should have one of those every week!)

If not God then not good

I was listening to a man say that the clearest verse in the Bible that Jesus Christ did not consider Himself to be God is Mark 10 v 18:
